Everyone appreciates having friends. Singles International is the group to join if you are single and enjoy having friends who share the RV lifestyle. Singles International (SI) is a chapter in the International Area (INTO) of FMCA and is composed of single individuals from all over the country, Canada, and Mexico. Chartered 25 years ago for the sole purpose of providing social fellowship for single FMCA members, we continue to welcome FMCA members from all over the world who are traveling either full or part time. We are a social organization and host events for members throughout the country. Our rallies are not always in conjunction with FMCA conventions, although many of them are held prior to or after FMCA activities. In order to be able to park together at FMCA Conventions and Area Rallies, we generally hold a pre rally prior to events. We usually host a social hour at 4 PM and always have a good time. Individuals are welcome to join us at any event. Look for the yellow SI vests, shirts, and flags. Our activities include sightseeing, caravans, winter long rallies in FL, and South TX, summer long rallies in CO, festivals, picnics, holiday gatherings, hiking, shows, geocaching, potlucks, dance rallies, ATVing, eating out, fishing, and card playing. Individual members are encouraged to host gatherings and plan activities of their choice. We are not a "dating club" although some of our members have met new companions at our rallies. Our membership, currently around 400, consists of almost equal numbers of men and women, some of whom are full time RVers. We feel that our traveling life does not have to end after the loss of a partner and we offer friendship and support for those without a partner. Annual dues are $10 and include a newsletter. There is also a onetime fee of $10 to cover the cost of an SI nametag. Please see our web site for more information.
